I know I am a little late to the party, but I just wanted to make this post to express my excitement for all the announcements that came from the D23 Expo!
Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Cantina
New restaurant in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom inspired by the Jungle Cruise, featuring “World Famous Jungle Cuisine.” I love the Jungle Cruise ride so I am sure this restaurant will be just as fun.
Toy Story Land
I am really excited for this! I have read that it will be as immersive as Cars Land is in Disneyland. This was probably my favorite announcement.
Star Wars Lands
While I personally am not a Star Wars fan, I really enjoy Star Tours and Star Wars Weekends. I know this new expansion will be really neat and the two new attractions sound amazing. Even I would like to drive the Millennium Falcon!
Soarin’ Around the World
I have been waiting so long for them to update this. While I love Soarin’ Over California, my mind always wandered to where else this attraction could take us.
These were some of the biggies. Other exciting announcements are the Sunset Kilimanjaro Safaris and more Avatar updates at Animal Kingdom. I still am not completely sold on the Avatar Land. I am sure Disney will do a great job and it will be a fun addition to Animal Kingdom, but I did not see the movie and really don’t have any interest in it. I’m sure I’ll change my mind when I get to experience it myself.
These are the big announcements that affect Disney World. There were many more that came out of the Expo. Very exciting time for us Disney fans!
