Unique Sarasota: The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime

One of our new favorite spots to go to is The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime. It opened in 2018, and it is an eclectic mix of vendors in an indoor market space. There is also live music and a small cafe.

We like to head to the Bazaar on Saturdays after we go to the Sarasota Farmer’s Market. It’s not a far drive, but it is in kind of a random area where you wouldn’t expect an indoor marketplace to be. As soon as you see the colorful orange and green building, you’ll know you’re in the right place!

The Bazaar features different local artists and vendors. Since they’ve opened, they have added a lot more events, classes and live music. They are growing and expanding, which is really amazing to see.

Our favorite part of going to the Bazaar, besides supporting a fantastic local business, is talking to the owner, Judy! Her and her daughter, Kim, are almost always there, and they love showing newcomers around.

If you are looking for a more unique shopping experience while in Sarasota, definitely make a trip over to The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime. This is also a great way to support local businesses!

They are located at 821 Apricot Avenue Sarasota, Florida 34237. They are open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-5pm. Visit their website for more information and a current list of vendors.

Have you checked out the Bazaar yet? What are your favorite unique things to do in Sarasota?

  1. I love eclectic markets because you’ll never know what you’ll find! What kinds of classes do they offer? That sounds like my kind of thing!

    1. It’s mostly art related classes! Right now they are doing weaving and acrylic pouring classes! It’s such a neat place!
