Unforgettable Vatican Experience: Discover the Treasures of Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums, and St. Peter’s Basilica

Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica or Raphael’s Rooms: An Unforgettable Experience

The Vatican Museums are one of the most famous museums in the world, and for good reason. They house a vast collection of art and antiquities, from Roman sculptures to Renaissance paintings. The crown jewel of the museum is undoubtedly the Sistine Chapel, with its breathtaking frescoes by Michelangelo.

Positive Reviews:

  • A very good experience, we learned a lot. And there were things that surprised us. You have to go with time to explore and enjoy.
  • The Sistine Chapel is out of this world, an incredible artistic manifestation, totally worth it.
Magnificent! The guide was very lively and friendly in her explanations. The place is amazing and the overall experience is highly recommended.
  • Very organized. Having a guide is essential for Rome, not only to learn about important information but also to have preferential access.
  • The review will be short, I 100% recommend taking this tour, it’s worth paying a little more to avoid queues and have a great guide (like the one we had) to explain the history.

Negative Reviews:

  • Very bad service, I booked well in advance. I was in Rome for an academic activity and they changed my schedule, anticipating half an hour. When calling the guide indicated that he could not do anything, they left us without any attention. THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED THE AMOUNT EITHER. I attach proof of purchase of other entrance tickets, at the last minute and with a higher price.
  • Too many people, no crowd control.
  • No air conditioning and very hot.
  • It’s a shame not to be able to visit it as it deserves because of the number of people.
I would not pay again to enter under the same conditions.

Tips to Make the Most of Your Visit:

* Book your tickets in advance, especially if you’re traveling during peak season.
* Arrive early to avoid the lines.
* Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, as you’ll be doing a lot of walking.
* Bring water and snacks, as there aren’t many places to eat inside the museums.
* Hire a guide to learn more about the artwork and history of the museums.
* Don’t miss the Sistine Chapel, the crown jewel of the museum.
* Also visit the Raphael Rooms, which house frescoes by Raphael Sanzio.
* If you have time, visit St. Peter’s Basilica, one of the largest churches in the world.
