Top 5 Things to do at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort

One of my favorite areas to stay on property is the Epcot Resort Area. Being able to walk to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and the other resorts here is such a nice perk. Now with the Skyliners, it makes this area even more desirable to stay at. Here are some things you must do while staying at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort!

Explore the Boardwalk

This resort is modeled after turn-of-the-century Atlantic City and Coney Island. There are shops, restaurants, food stands, and even carnival games. Prior to the pandemic, there was live entertainment, like magicians and jugglers. Unfortunately, this has not been brought back yet. I recommend grabbing a drink at the Abracadabar. Make sure you pay close attention the pictures on the walls!

Belle Vue Lounge

This is one of my favorite places to sit and relax. The Belle Vue is a 1930s-style lounge complete with old timey radio programs playing in the background. There are also board games and indoor/outdoor seating. There are light breakfast bites and coffee available here in the morning. In the evening, there is a full bar.

The pool area continues the carnival theme with a fun water slide. They are usually playing great music, and there’s a bar to get drinks and some snacks. There are also two quiet pools if you’d like something a little more tranquil.

Cottage Suites

Discovered by accident on the Boardwalk Inn side is the Cottage Suites. This is just a very charming area to walk through, maybe after grabbing a coffee at the Belle Vue!

Walk, Walk, Walk

One of the best things about the Boardwalk is the location. You are a quick walk away from the International Gateway Epcot entrance. You can also walk to the Yacht & Beach Club and Swan & Dolphin resorts. There is the option to walk or take the boat to Hollywood Studios. Now with the addition of the Skyliner, you can walk over to the Epcot entrance and ride that around. This is why we love staying in the Epcot Resort Area!

These are just some of the fun things to do at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. What are your favorite Disney resorts to stay at?
