I am usually not very sentimental. However, when it comes to mementos like plane tickets, hotel room keys, maps, concert tickets, movie stubs, etc…I cannot throw anything out!
Over the years I have accumulated a lot of stubs and had been storing them in this ugly container that sat on my dresser. I had an idea to put them in a shoebox I had, and then I had an even better idea to make the shoebox pretty! I usually am not very crafty so I impressed myself. All that’s needed is paint and paintbrushes. I got whatever was on sale at Michael’s at the time.
This is a very affordable, easy DIY project that took me very little time to complete but I love how it turned out! Now I have a very pretty colored box that has all of my great memories from past trips, concerts, and other events.
