Cambodia in Photos
In 2013 we had the pleasure of traveling to Vietnam and Cambodia. While in Cambodia we got to see some amazing cities like Phnom Penh and Siem Reap as well as rural villages. We go to experience Angkor Wat, the Killing Fields, and a monastery. There were also lots of beautiful statues and art work. Our trip was both adventurous and educational and we feel lucky to have had the opportunity to visit such an interesting and wonderful country. Here are some of our favorite pictures from that trip. After, check out our photos from Vietnam!
Don’t forget to check out our photos from Vietnam, too!
Have you been to Cambodia? What was your favorite part?
Beautiful pictures!! Looks like an amazing trip! I’ve never been but I definitely want to plan a trip there now!!
First of all, I love the idea of having a blog post full on mainly pictures! Secondly, Cambodia is beautiful. I always hear about friends going over for mission trips but its good to see another side to the area!
Very cool! I love being able to see photos of other people’s travel to places I may never get to go – thanks for sharing!!

WOW these photos are so beautiful and stunning!!!! Looks like you had ana amazing trip!
Thank you!
I absolutely love Cambodia, I don’t think I met friendlier people while I was traveling through Asia (in 2013 as well). The Killing Fields was such a heartbreaking thing to go see, but important as well to learn more about the history of the Khmer people. I loved seeing Angkor Wat, even with the hoards of people, so worth it! Looks like you had a great visit, thanks for sharing!
Thanks Mimi! Yes there were definitely parts of our trip that were heartbreaking because they have such a sad history. But you are so right that the people were so friendly! We are so glad we had the opportunity to travel through there.
I would love to visit Cambodia one day. It looks like such a beautiful and interesting place.
It is a beautiful country with a sad but resilient history!
